The first thing you should know about the workouts is that they are high-intensity. This means that you are doing a lot of work in a short amount of time. If you are not a regular gym buff, no worries here! At CrossFit Gardendale, our beginners start in an On-Ramp class that teaches the movements and covers all of the basics you need to know before jumping into a full class. Plus, the intensity is scalable to your current fitness level and shifts as you improve your fitness over time.

We bring you new WOD’s (Workout of the Day) that keep things interesting and target all of the muscles in your body, as well as challenging all areas of your fitness. CrossFit is all about getting your body to move in functional ways, meaning all of the ways your body needs to move in your everyday life. Functional movement exercises mimic our daily activities, making our jobs, life at home, and weekend activities easier on the body.
