“I don’t have time” is one of the easiest excuses to use to get out of most things. I never thought I had time to work out because I didn’t want to spend hours in the gym to get in a work out. That is one of the best things about Crossfit. I can come in get an exhausting workout and be back out the door within an hour (that’s if I don’t sit down and chat for a while). Sometimes it takes hearing words like pre-diabetic, high blood pressure or the big one for me “OBESE” to make you stop and evaluate what your time is worth. Is the time I wasted watching a show on TV or wasted sitting in the drive-thru line at a local fast food worth more than my health. By giving that time to yourself to workout, to become a healthier more active you, that’s time you are actually giving back to your family. It’s not selfish to take the time to work on you. It’s in fact a gift to everyone around you. And it could very well add years to your life (now that’s a great return on your investment of time). I had to decide I was worth the time. My husband and kids were worth me taking the time. I’m a better person. You will never ‘find’ time for anything. If you want time you must make it.
I am worth the time. I am CFG.
