14 Reminders That You Are Worth It Before Your Next Workout

Let’s just start by saying, you are absolutely worth it! Others may tell you this, but sometimes you need to remind yourself as motivation to fuel that next workout. You are worth those pounds you would like to shed, the muscles you would like to build, and the sweat and exhaustion you may feel from working out. You are worth pushing through workouts when you are tired and sticking with your CrossFit Gardendale workouts, even when you have had a long day at work or taking care of the kids.

Use these mantras to guide your next workout and remind yourself that you are worth all of the hard work and time you put into your workouts. Consider also incorporating the tips below to get motivated for your next workout.

Worth it

Write a Reminder

Use a sticky note on the mirror or a piece of paper somewhere you will see it. Writing a reminder is a great way to give yourself a boost of confidence when you need it most. Pick something that resonates with where you are in your day. For example, in the bathroom, a morning pick me up may be exactly what you need. Or, if you workout right after work, put a note in your office that you will see before you head out for the day.

Boost Your Confidence

When you need a reminder that you are worth it, do an activity that you feel confident with and love. If you are struggling in your lifts and working out, for example, going on a hike or for a swim is a great way to build confidence and remind yourself of what you are working towards.

Reward Yourself

Also consider using a reward to remind yourself that you are worth it. After you do your workout, reward yourself with something that you love. You are absolutely worth your workouts and deserve to treat yourself for all of your hard work — keep it up!
