We are definitely in the middle of the holiday season, and it can be very hard to plan and prepare your meals. In addition to our already hectic schedules of work, school, and everyday household chores, we are busy decorating, shopping, attending parties and wrapping gifts. We run here, there and everywhere and leave little time to worry about cooking, never mind cooking meals to fuel our bodies with the nutrients they need to perform to their full potential! Dining out or grabbing lunch or dinner through a drive-thru becomes a simple solution during the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. However, you should not let this be an excuse to throw all of your hard work out the window and eat french fries with every meal. I have compiled a list below of some better choices to make if you find yourself dining out or picking up dinner in a drive-thru. Since we live in a town with a only a few dining options, I have limited my suggestions to the dining establishments in Gardendale!
